Lawn aeration and overseeding
A lawn that gets walked on, mowed and played on all summer packs down hard, and thin grass and bare patches follow. Aeration opens the soil back up, and seed put down straight after has somewhere to root.
Free visit, written price, nothing owed either way.
What that includes
- The lawn aerated to loosen compacted soil, so water, air and seed get down to the roots
- Overseeding after aerating, to thicken a thin lawn
- Bare and worn patches raked out to loose soil and seeded
- Straw laid over the bare spots to hold the seed and keep it damp

Questions
- Do you give free estimates?
- Yes. We come out, look at the property, and give you a written price. You are not charged for that visit and you are not obligated to book.
- What areas do you cover?
- Southampton, Feasterville, Holland, Richboro, Bensalem, Newtown, Lower Makefield, Upper Makefield, New Hope, Doylestown, Huntingdon Valley, Bryn Athyn, Hatboro, Abington, Willow Grove, Princeton, Pennington and Lawrenceville, plus the surrounding parts of Bucks and Montgomery County and across the river into Mercer County, New Jersey. If you are outside that, call anyway. It depends on the job.
- When is the best time to aerate a lawn around here?
- Early fall, for the cool-season grasses most lawns in Bucks County and Mercer County are. The soil is still warm, the nights are cooler, and new seed has the autumn to root before winter. Spring works too if the lawn cannot wait. Call or text and we will come out and look at it.
